What is Facilities Finder?

The only B2B sales-intelligence platform built on facility-level data. Every plant, branch, and warehouse is a first-class record — 600,000+ US industrial facilities with 25 million+ decision-maker contacts, covering all 50 states. Built for field sales reps who prospect by territory and sell to plant-level buyers.

How is Facilities Finder different from ZoomInfo, Apollo, or D&B?

Every other B2B database indexes companies by headquarters. Search "chemical manufacturers in Indiana" on ZoomInfo or Apollo and you get companies whose HQ is in Indiana — missing the Indiana plants owned by a company headquartered in Minnesota or Germany. Facilities Finder indexes the plant itself. One search on a parent like Greif returns all 118 US facilities across 30 states. That is a structural difference, not a filtering preference.

Who is Facilities Finder for?

Field sales reps and their managers selling equipment, MRO, packaging, chemicals, industrial services, logistics, automation, safety/PPE, and similar categories into manufacturing and industrial plants. If your territory is geographic and your buyers are at the plant — not in a corporate HQ — you are our ICP.

What types of facilities are in the database?

Manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, and industrial operations across all 50 states. Each facility has an exact lat/long, facility type (plant, branch, HQ, distribution center), building square footage where available, estimated employee count, products made, and waste profile where applicable.

Is there a Chrome extension?

Yes. Open any company's website and the extension instantly shows every real facility that company operates. Useful mid-research when you are on a prospect's site and want to see their full US footprint without leaving the page.

AI & Search

Do I need to know NAICS codes to search?

No. Type what you are looking for in plain English — "food-processing plants within 150 miles of Columbus" or "injection molders making medical-grade parts in Texas." Our AI extracts intent and ranks all 600,000+ facilities by semantic match, not keyword. Behind the scenes we have built 35,000+ AI-generated industry classifications and indexed 7 million+ products at the facility level — what each plant actually makes, not what the parent company lists on their marketing site.

Where does the AI-enriched data come from?

Our AI ingests billions of public signals — satellite imagery, map providers, company websites, EPA filings, permit records, and trade publications — and extracts a structured profile per facility. That is how we get facility-level products, waste profile, estimated employee count, and facility type on plants that other databases only have an address for.

Is the search semantic or keyword-based?

Semantic. You describe what you need in natural language and we rank facilities by match quality, not by whether your exact keyword appears in a field. You can still stack hard filters (territory, industry, size, EPA flags, etc.) on top of the semantic query.

Territories & Search

What is a territory and how do I build one?

A territory is a saved geographic area you sell into. Build one four ways: draw a polygon on the map, select states and counties, set a radius around a location, or upload a list of ZIP codes. Save it, name it, and every search you run automatically filters to facilities inside it. Territories can be shared with teammates so everyone on the account works the same map.

How is this different from filtering by city or state in another tool?

Competitors filter by city/state strings on the company record — which is the HQ address. If your territory is "northern Indiana + southern Michigan" and a plant is in Elkhart, IN owned by a parent company headquartered elsewhere, every other tool misses it. We store exact lat/long on every facility, so a polygon or radius filter returns the actual plant regardless of where the parent is based.

What filters stack on top of a territory?

Industry classification, products made, facility type, employee count, building square footage, EPA and environmental flags, parent company, custom tags and statuses your team has added, and dozens more. Every filter combines with the territory boundary.

Contacts & Decision-Makers

Who are the contacts?

Plant managers, operations directors, maintenance managers, purchasing, quality, EHS, and other facility-level decision-makers — 25 million+ of them, keyed to the plant rather than to corporate HQ. No factory-floor workers, no HQ marketing staff.

How does contact unlocking work?

Email addresses and phone numbers are initially locked on each contact record. Clicking "Get email" or "Get phone" unlocks the contact through our enrichment provider. Once unlocked, the entire team has lifetime access — anyone on your account who opens the same record sees the unlocked info. You never pay to unlock the same person twice.

How are contacts matched to facilities?

We match each contact's employment domain(s) against the facility's domain and the parent company's domain. That is how we avoid assigning the CEO of a multinational to a single plant, and how we surface the actual plant manager for the location you are working.

How accurate is the data?

Teams & Collaboration

Does Facilities Finder support teams?

Yes. Every Facilities Finder account is a team account. Invite teammates as owners or members, share territories, lists, notes, tags, and statuses. Unlocked contacts benefit the whole team — unlock once, everyone has it.

Who can see what on my team?

Notes, tags, statuses, and unlocked contacts are team-shared — everyone sees them, attributed to whoever created them. Territories, deals, and personal lists are user-scoped by default: members see their own, owners see everyone's. Field reps keep their pipeline private while shared research rolls up to the team.

Can I track deals?

Yes. A built-in pipeline (stages, activities, multi-contact deals, auto-logged stage changes) lives alongside facility search. Deal data is user-scoped for members and visible team-wide to owners, so managers can see the full pipeline without reps losing their working view.

Data & Privacy

Where does the facility data come from?

Public and commercial sources: state and federal business registrations, EPA facility databases, map providers, company websites, permit records, trade publications, and satellite imagery. Everything is compiled, verified, and enriched by our AI before it reaches your search results.

How often is the data refreshed?

Continuously. High-priority records — larger facilities, recently changed operations, new regulatory filings — refresh on a faster cycle than long-tail records.

Is the platform compliant with CCPA, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM?

Yes. Our data is sourced in compliance with applicable privacy and marketing regulations. If you have a specific compliance question for your program, reach out and we will walk through it.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Search results and lists export to CSV. Exports use credits from your account balance.

Can I save a search?

Yes. Any combination of filters can be saved and re-run later, and lists built from search results persist on your account with notes, tags, and statuses.
Facility records are compiled and cross-referenced across state and federal business registrations, EPA databases, map providers, and company websites, then enriched by our AI. Contact records are kept current through ongoing verification. No B2B database is 100% — we invest specifically in facility-level accuracy, which is where legacy tools are weakest.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your account data (territories, lists, notes, unlocked contacts) is handled per our Terms of Service and can be deleted on request. See our data deletion page for details.
